QB7 Training will use every tool available to allow you to become the best Quarterback possible. From weighted footballs and ankle weights, to throwing nets and medicine balls. You will reach your potential.
Warm Up - I will teach you how to warm up. This not only includes stretching and throwing, but mental preparation as well. Every day, the same warm-up routine will be used so that it will become second nature. The Warm up that is used is meant to get you ready for the current training session, but will also act to increase strength and ability over the course of our time together
3 & 5 Step Drops - These drop backs for the quick and longer passing games will be taught extensively. You will have an expert knowledge of the footwork and mechanics, as well as a peek into the route concepts and coverages you will see at every level of the game
Play Action Passing - There are a few ways to develop a great passing game, and one of them is the use of a solid running game, combined with play action. Learn how to use your head, feet, body and ball positions to sell your fake every time. When your head returns down field, learn how to make a quick 1-2-3 read and get the ball out of your hands
OTR Mechanics - On the Run mechanics is something that is many times overlooked. A quarterback will never have perfect protection all the time, and the better you can throw the ball on the move, the more valuable you are as a quarterback. A defensive coordinator's worst nightmare is a QB that can hang in the pocket and stretch coverage while on the run
2 Minute Drill - Growing up, every night was the 2 minute drill. My father would run up and down the field with me, teaching me the art of the 2 minute drill. This training paid huge dividends when the game was on the line, and it will for you as well. Having an intimate knowledge of this part of Quarterbacking is what will make you a champion
Coverage Breakdown - There is no replacement for on the field training when it comes to breaking down coverages. This may be the most important facet of being a Quarterback. Many QB's are very good mechanically, but that won't move the ball and will not win you football games. You will be slicing up coverages before you know it
Route Concepts - Knowing the defense is invaluable, but knowing yourself is irreplaceable. Learning what routes/concepts work against what coverages is the best way of mastering the passing game
